Contrast Therapy is an invigorating session that alternates between hot and cold, at your own pace, with a relaxing, sit-down, infrared sauna and a rousing cold plunge. It’s an alternately calming and exhilarating experience, with amazing, long-lasting benefits, that you won’t soon forget!

This treatment is comprised of:
- an infrared sauna detox to rid the body of impurities, toxins and other harmful substances, for glowing, refreshed skin, with a strong calorie burn.
- a cold plunge to reduce inflammation, boost immunity, improve blood circulation, stimulate collagen production, and regenerate, lift and tighten the skin, as it enlivens your energy and mood – a shock to the system… but it’s all worth it.
Depending on your tolerance, we suggest alternating between sauna and plunge as follows:
9 to 14 minutes – infrared sauna
15 seconds to 3 minutes – cold plunge

Utilizing the FDA-cleared Ballancer Pro, compression therapy is highly recommended. It helps improve blood circulation, diminishes varicose veins and removes cellular waste products and bacteria.

The session starts with a simple, dry-brush exfoliation for stimulating blood circulation. The sauna* then generates a gentle, soothing, and therapeutic heat of up to 150°, causing a rise in your core temperature resulting in an efficient detoxification (or deep tissue sweat) burning calories as you relax and cleanse your body. Water weight loss is a definite, because there is no question… you WILL sweat.
After a quick shower – and an optional dip in the cold plunge – anti-aging oils and butters are smoothed onto the skin with either a self-application or a mini-session of light hand-work to nourish and protect.
